A Florida native, Josh Wicker began playing music at a young age. When he was older, he started leading worship in local churches, and even went overseas to lead for troops in Iraq and Kuwait while serving in the Marine Corps Reserve. Josh then graduated from Liberty University and headed to Nashville, TN, where he was stretched musically, both as a songwriter and a worship leader.

Josh enjoys the creative process and expression of songwriting, and loves sharing new songs with his church body in Southern Kentucky, where he is currently serving as a worship pastor. His goal is to write songs for the church that point people to Jesus. He hopes his songs are crafted in such a way that the melody is perfectly married to the lyric, moving the truth of the song past the layers of distractions and straight to the heart.

While music is ingrained into his make up, Josh’s family is by far the most important thing in his life. On any given day you will find Josh stealing hugs and kisses from his daughter, Brooklynn, and enjoying the sweet gift of time with Allison, his wife.
